One Year and One Week

One year and one week after I started my weight loss journey I finally weighed in at 130.8! Now I have to be 130.0 to be at my 'goal' with WW but that's only .8 away. Then I'll have to maintain for 6 weeks to be eligible for Lifetime...which means I do not have to pay for WW as long as I weigh in with them once a month.

Weight at home: 129.5!!
Weight at WW: 130.8
Weekly loss: -1.4lbs (WHAT THE HECK?!)
Total weight loss: -30.4lbs

I changed the where I was walking. Added hills but the distance is the same. We area also walking the same distance in less time! I am definitely feeling motivated to keep walking. My friend did a good thing in suggesting we change where we walked, not only for our safety (we did the same route and the same time but different days), but for a change in our routine. I mean it totally showed.

I even ate TEXAS BBQ on Friday night. I did not count those points. :P

Weigh in and SOOO close to my goal weight

Weigh in on Tuesday was less than exciting.

At home: 131.3
WW: 132.2
Weight loss: -0 (boo)
Total Loss: -29

I shouldn't really be upset for not losing any weight. I over ate x1000 on Sunday. I was so sluggish the whole day too. I realize when I overeat I always feel tired. I looked up why the body feels tired after eating too much. It is because once the food hits your small intestine it goes into "digest this food only" mode thus making you feel tired and sleepy. Knowing and finally identifying that feelings and it's exact cause is huge for me. I don't like feeling sleepy when I need to be chatting and being social with family. Now that I know that it's another reason to not over eat. Yay!

My friend and I changed our walking route. Since it's too hot in the afternoons now we are walking in the mornings. We still walk 6-6.5 miles but it's through the country now. E likes it because there are cows and horses. We like it because it's new and it has hills!!

On Thursday I got on the scale. My goal this week is to stay in my points and see 130.? on the scale...and IT HAPPENED! I was really excited. Eating with in my points and the new route has already helped. Yesterday to treat myself I went to Sonic and got the cinnasnacks. BUT I only ate 1 instead of all 3. I got my yummy fix and I didn't blow my day.

Today I went shopping. I went to the Gap. I found some cute shorts and I tried on size 6 and size 4. The size 6 were TOO BIG!!! YAY! How exciting was that. And my shirt is size XS! Here is a picture:

The last 2 weigh in's and monthly measurements!

Weigh in from 4/8:

I had not done the best at eating the week prior and I'd missed my normal weigh in so I knew I needed to weigh in even though I was afraid of gaining that week. I had to go in on Wednesday which was nice because they open early that day.

WW: 132.8
-1.0 officially (that was a loss from 2 weeks)

Weigh in from Tuesday 4/15:

At home: 131.3 (OMG YAY!)
WW: 132.2

TOTAL: -29lbs!

My WW year anniversary is next Wednesday. I am thinking about going in on Wednesday just so I can do it on my year. I'd love to lose 1lb this week so I can have an even 30lbs for the year.

Tuesday Weigh In

I over committed myself to too many things yesterday. I made plans for E to be with a babysitter for about 30/40 minutes. She does not like anyone other than Mama or Dada to be with her. But I have an important appointment next Thursday and hubby is going to be away from home that day. Then I needed to get my hair done. My hairdresser only works at her salon Mon, Tues and Saturday's. Those are not my idea days but it's what I have to work with if I want my hair done. Side note: I am now a brunette. I am not sure how I feel about it yet, but it's not ugly. Being a brunette makes me think of what my life was like before hubby. It reminds me of being in a different place in my life. The blonde was MY thing. It was what I did for myself. The reason I went brunette was because my roots have been growing really fast lately and it's been hard to find time to get to the salon. So I will be brown for a while and add some highlights in here and there.

With all that I didn't get a chance to weigh in. But that is okay. Just because I worked really hard and stayed within my points 90% of the time, but couldn't weigh in...it doesn't mean none of that counted. SOOOOOO what was my home weight? 132.5!! Holy CRAP!! Yay! Very exciting! I am happy with that. That means I am 2.5lbs away from my goal! A goal I have had since 2007!

We are going out to dinner tonight. Hubby owes me a yummy dinner at my favorite place. I did something I haven't done in a long time...count my points ahead of time! I actually feel more relaxed about the day. I know how many points I have for snacks. I am also walking 2 hours (6.7 miles) this afternoon.

Weeeekly Goooooaaaaaal!!

I am happy to report I FINALLY saw 132 on the scale at home! 132.8 this morning! Yesterday morning my 5 year old C told me my belly was getting smaller. We all know kids are honest to a fault and she usually tells me my belly is big. I usually take her "critiques" with a grain of salt but I'm accepting this one! Haha!

I hope I can keep up this momentum up. I'd like to have a decent weight loss at the meeting.

Weigh in Day

It's been a rough week. I've been working on getting baby E to sleep in her crib longer. Once I have her down all I want to do is eat. So I have been late night eating. I know that is not ideal or beneficial at all but it's just what I do...emotional eating. I had every intention of eating within my points on Sunday but my husband said we were going to eat Mexican with his parents and I HAD to eat. I have zero self control with Mexican food. Ha.

Yesterday I ate within my points and walked 6.5 miles. I got back down a few ounces lower than last week. I knew it wouldn't be much of a weight loss, but I don't care. I don't like to see the gain.

Weight at Home: 133.1
Weight at WW: 133.8
Weekly Loss: -.4
Total Loss: -27.4
Pounds until Goal: 3.8lbs

-.4 for the week. Not bad seeing as though I didn't do that great. My goal this week is to track everything and FINALLY see 132 on the scale at home. I am back to where I was when I stopped back in November. Took me almost 2 months. My own fault but I like the slow weight loss.

I got this weird charm today that I earned. It was for going 4 weeks in a row. I don't really know what it does but it's kind of cool. Just a little memento.

Weigh in #30!

Weight at Home: 133.4
Weight at WW: 134.2

Total Loss: -27.0

I was happy with the loss. That is coming off playing catch up from vacation.

I have walked twice this week. We were going to try and walk 3 times but the wind and weather just wouldn't allow it. We walked 6.3 miles on Monday and 4.8 miles yesterday. E is starting to last longer in the stroller. I used to bring my Beco with me in case she started SCREAMING but now that she is big enough I give her toys, crackers, etc.

I am hoping I will see 132 on my home scale this week. I haven't seen 132 since before I was pregnant with kiddo #2! That was 2007/2008!!
